Prime Softball

Prime Softball is the fastest-growing and largest softball organization in Arkansas. Having started as a 14U team of 11 players in 2021, Prime has grown into organization of 130+ kids spanning five states. Formerly Sticks Softball, Prime has teams that compete at all levels of play. We field teams that compete locally, regionally and across the country in destinations like Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Chattanooga, Birmingham, etc… Our teams have become regulars at events put on by some of the biggest names in softball like Triple Crown, Top Gun, Team 1, PGF, Alliance Fastpitch and many more.
Our high school players have access to top-tier, professional training and development at the state’s top facility, Proformance Sports Academy. And each receives a personalized, 24/7, 365-day per year recruiting plan. In just two years, we have had over 30 athletes sign and/or commit to playing softball at the next level. We have players headed to Division I programs and all other levels of NCAA softball.
Our high school players also have access to a unique, one-of-its kind experience in the Prime Fall Softball League. Exclusive to Prime athletes, players each fall will be drafted onto teams coached by Prime coaches, compete in a league, play on various college campuses every weekend and be eligible to win both weekly and season-long awards. We track every statistic and compile weekly leaderboards and funnel all information to every college coach in our region each week. In year one, we saw multiple offers and visits extended and we expect a plethora more in the league’s second version.
We are sponsored by Decker Sports and are a proud member of their Champion Club, featuring some of the top baseball/softball programs across the country. Click here to find out why you should join the #PrimeArmy.

Prime 18U National recently won the Mississippi Bombers Southeast Invite in Oxford, Miss. They went 8-1 over a four-day span to capture the Gold Bracket Championship, which qualifies them for the Alliance National Championship in Indianapolis in July.
"Huge win not only for our team, but for our program," Prime Director and 18U National Coach Jay Lupo said. "The Bombers Invite is a prestigious event that we like to play in. It's close and a good way to see some teams from Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama that we don't usually get to see. There are some really good teams at it each year and tons of college coaches.
"So yeah, it's kind of a statement to come down here and win the whole thing. I know after we won it, I had texts from Division I, II and JUCO coaches congratulating me. It was a pretty cool experience."
The win vaults Prime onto an even bigger stage in the AFCS in Indiana. Lupo said he will assemble the best the organization has to offer and take them to Indianapolis.
"The AFCS is something we've wanted," he said. "It was in LA last year when we got our berth, so we didn't go. Indianapolis is much more manageable for our kids so we're definitely going to cash that ticket in.
"We're very excited and feel like we'll have a group that can compete with anybody up there."
